DIY CRAFT BOUQUET OF FINGERPRINT FLOWERS.

I always enjoy a good homemade gift, especially one from my daughter. This is probably the reason I have piles of her artwork from school that I can’t bear to part with. I also feel like displaying it as some art work makes it even more adorable and a little more special. With Mother’s Day coming up, I wanted to share some homemade artwork we created for the important ladies in their lives, the Fingerprint Flower Bouquet.but I thought an updated piece of art might be nice now that we have Roman too. It literally let’s them put their own personal touch into the gift.

If you’re like me, you have a box full of momentos you’ve been saving (and adding to) as your kids grow. Those tiny little bracelets they wear on their wrist in the hospital, that little certificate with their hand and teeny footprints, and of course plenty of artwork from days gone by. Yes, I have lots of stuff. My first baby is 21 years old now, while my youngest baby is entering high school this year.

Some of the things that we as parents hold dear are crafts and artwork made with tiny fingerprints. Those tender keepsakes from a size gone by, now only a memory for me.

If your kids are still little, make sure you save lots of those sweet pieces of art to look back on and smile! There are so many things that we can’t remember from our children growing up, so having that tiny fingerprint is a great way to cherish those memories in art.

This fingerprint flower bouquet is sweet, it’s cute, and it’s colorful. It would make a great grandparent gift or a Mother’s Day gift. It would also be great just for decorating your little girl’s room.
Fold scrapbook paper in half and glue together to make the paper two-sided.

Use the pattern to cut out the flower shape from scrapbook paper.

Dip finger in paint and press on to each petal. Use one color for the petals and a contrasting color for the center. Glue a button to the center of each flower.

Fold pipe cleaners in half and twist together. Glue to the back of the flower. Insert floral foam into clay pot or cup and push the pipe cleaners into the foam. Glue the flowers to the pipe cleaners.
